Gianluca Pagliuca says he would sell Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic if a big enough offer was tabled this summer.

The Slovenian international was arguably the club’s best player in their problematic 2012-13 campaign following his move from Udinese.

As a result, his performances have reportedly caught the eye of Spanish giants Barcelona – amongst a number of other outfits.

Pagliuca, who kept goal for the Beneamata between 1994 and 1999, rates the man highly yet argues that he has his price.

“He is the best of the younger generation, along with Bayern Munich’s Manuel Neuer,” the 46-year-old told Sky Sport Italia. “Because then there is Gigi Buffon and Iker Casillas.

“Handanovic is a shot-stopper who has been doing very well over the last few years.

“Saying that, if an offer of €30m was made then I would accept it,” the former Italian international added. “That is a lot of money.”

Handanovic, 28, is believed to have cost Inter a fee in the region of around €11m.
