Paolo Berlusconi urges patience over the sale of Milan, as his brother Silvio recovers from heart surgery.

The Rossoneri President went under the knife this week, in the middle of takeover talks with Chinese investors.

“Let’s give him time to recover, then think about the future of Milan,” Berlusconi said in an interview with Milan Channel.

“The situation of football, and of Milan, is absolutely linked to the advent of Asian investors and oil money, it’s different than it was 30 years ago.

“If he decides to sell Milan, it will only be on the condition that the person can return the team to it’s former glory, also making a financial commitment to invest and strengthen the team.

“Rossoneri fans should rest assured that a sale will only be to those who can make us great again.

“If he decides to hold on to Milan, it’ll take a little bit of time to rebuild an Italian Milan and bring us back up.”
