Ajax sporting director Marc Overmars says Inter and Frank de Boer “needed more time to understand each other”
The Coach was sacked by the Nerazzurri yesterday, having lost seven of the 14 games since he took over.
“I haven’t heard from him [De Boer] since the Inter sacking, but I’m sorry for him,” Overmars told Tuttomercatoweb.
“To sack someone after three months isn’t good, a Coach needs to have everyone’s support: President, staff, players… they all have to pull in the same direction.
