The Azzurri CT Azeglio Vicini had the second best stat with 981 minutes without conceding, when Argentina player Claudio Caniggia broke the record in 1990.

The absolute record of the Azzurri was set by former Juventus goalkeeper Dino Zoff, who went 1143 minutes without conceding from 1972 to 1974, when Feruccio Valcareggi was in charge of the Nazionale.
