Over 1,000 Fiorentina fans and Italian football personalities, including Roma coach Daniele De Rossi arrived at Viola Park this morning to pay their tributes to Joe Barone.

Barone died on Tuesday in Milan after a cardiac arrest he had suffered on Sunday before a Serie A game before Atalanta and Fiorentina. He would have turned 58 today.

His coffin arrived at Fiorentina’s training ground, Viola Park, on Tuesday night, and fans can pay their tributes until 20:00 GMT today.

As reported by RAI correspondent Sara Meini, over 1,000 Fiorentina supporters have arrived at the club’s training ground alongside several football personalities, including Roma boss De Rossi.
