Despite the words of Lille President Gerard Lopez, Italian reports insist they would favour Napoli in a deal worth €40m plus Adam Ounas for Victor Osimhen.
Lopez told Sportmail today that he wanted a similar sum to that paid for Nicolas Pepe last summer, which cost Arsenal €78m after they beat Napoli in a bidding war.
However, Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà maintains the asking price for 21-year-old Osimhen is closer to €55-60m.

He also assures that Napoli have the upper hand over Arsenal in this case because they have Ounas, an attacking wing-back who spent this season on loan at Nice.
If Ounas and a €40m cash sum were to be put together, that could get Osimhen to the Stadio San Paolo for next season.
The Nigeria international scored 18 goals in 38 competitive games for Lille, along with six assists, since his €12m transfer from Charleroi last summer.
