The Napoli loanee moved to Cagliari last summer, but returned from Sardinia and immediately moved on loan to Crotone for the remainder of the season.

After six months and seven appearances in Sardinia, the winger looks forward to a new chapter.

“I’m very pleased to be here, I want to help the team,” he told the club’s official website. “The next games will be difficult, we need to score as many points as possible and then we’ll see.”

Crotone sit bottom of the League after 20 games, three points from safety.

Sky Sport Italia claimed the deal was on the verge of collapsing, as the winger was listening to an offer from Nantes in Ligue 1 too, but the player said he normally signs last minute.

“We had been in contact with Crotone for a week already, but I wasn’t hesitating. I always sign in the last moment because I want the project to convince me, and Crotone did.”
