Sampdoria’s sporting director hopes Sinisa Mihajlovic will remain as Coach, but considers Walter Zenga as a replacement.
The Serbian Coach has been heavily linked with a move to Napoli, with speculation he will replace Rafa Benitez for next season.
“I hope that Sinisa Mihajlovic will stay with us,” Carlo Osti told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I hope that Sinisa Mihajlovic will stay with us,” Carlo Osti told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“If he were to leave, Walter Zenga has attributes that I like. He has struck me with his enthusiasm and personality, but also his expertise.
“He’s worked abroad, it’s not easy.”
Osti also discussed the contract situations of several Blucerchiato players, and hasn’t heard of any Inter interest in Alessandro Romagnoli.
“[Emiliano] Viviano has done well, we’re happy with him. We’re working with the agents of [Matias] Silvestre and [Ezequiel] Munoz to renew their contracts.”
“As for Romagnoli, from the player’s perspective I think that he needs to play, whether that’s at Roma or Sampdoria.
“Do Inter want him? You’d have to ask [Roma sporting director Walter] Sabatini.”
