“He has a release clause of €15m,” Osti pointed out in an interview with Il Secolo XIX.

“If someone comes in for him, we’ll evaluate it, but right now there’s nothing.”
Osti also admitted that the Blucerchiati are seeking defensive reinforcements in January, having conceded 22 goals in 14 games.
“We’re looking for a central defender and a left-back, with features that we don’t currently have in the team.
“They’ll have to be accustomed to Serie A too.
“Antonio Cassano? I think he’ll be really helpful for us, he’s one of those players you always want. As far as we’re concerned, he is and will continue to be a Sampdoria player.
“Obviously the rest is up to him.”
