Napoli goalkeeper David Ospina calls Alex Meret “a talent”, but warns “I came here to play…”
The 30-year-old joined the Partenopei on loan from Arsenal this summer, in part because Meret broke a bone in his arm in his first training session.
The young Italian is now back in contention though, and will look to challenge for the number 1 shirt.
“It’s good for Napoli to have everyone available,” Ospina told Corriere dello Sport.

“Alex is a talent, and we all have to be ready. I have to do my best to convince the Coach [Carlo Ancelotti]. I’m here to play, as everyone must do.”
