Victor Osimhen warns Napoli fans and neutrals that Kvicha Kvaratskhelia is even better in training, despite getting seven goals and eight assists. ‘You have not seen anything yet…’

The Partenopei notched up a 10th consecutive victory in all competitions after beating Bologna 3-2, with Juan Jesus, Hirving Lozano and Osimhen on target.

“This is what we call team spirit. We started well, Bologna are a good team, but we needed these points,” Osimhen told DAZN.

“Big kudos to the coach for the second half talk, he gave us the zeal to go out for this game. I am happy for this victory.”

Osimhen made his comeback from a long injury lay-off against Ajax in the Champions League midweek and scored there too.

“It’s always important for me to get a goal in this stadium, because the atmosphere is really amazing and I am happy to help the team win. I believe we will continue to push with this momentum.”

When he scored the goal, substitute Osimhen ran over to the bench celebrate with teammate Giacomo Raspadori.

“I love him, not just because he is now my teammate, when he was at Sassuolo too. He’s a top player, a great guy, he has been decisive for the team and we have a good relationship on and off the pitch. I love the solidarity in this team, which is the most important thing at this level.”

Kvaratskhelia has been a revelation and provided the assist for Osimhen’s goal this evening, as well as being involved in the Hirving Lozano strike.

Between Serie A and the Champions League, the 21-year-old Georgia international has now contributed seven goals and eight assists in just 14 appearances.

“I am really happy for him, he deserves everything he is getting now. He is just getting started, you guys have seen nothing yet. I believe he has the quality to make us dream this season, he has big confidence and we are here to help support him. You can see he has been decisive for us.”

So does that mean Kvaradona is even better in training?

“I think you have not seen anything yet…”

  1. You can tell the spirit of the team is sky high with the younger players no longer in the shadow of K2, Insigne and Mertens.

  2. You would think that when Insigne left there wilk be a big gap on the left wing. And ten this guy Kvara comes out od nowhere and makes it look so easy 🙂 respect
