Victor Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda will not pursue legal action against Napoli following the recent controversy surrounding their mocking TikTok videos.
The 24-year-old Nigerian striker was the focus of two videos in particular that went viral in recent days, the first mocking his penalty miss against Bologna and the second comparing him to a coconut.
Osimhen was furious with the videos and Napoli eventually deleted them, but after this his agent Calenda came out and noted that legal action was being considered in response. The club released an official statement on Thursday in response, but it was widely criticised for the lack of an apology.

The Nigerian striker’s contract expires in June 2025 and a renewal seems incredibly unlikely at this stage, making a departure within the next 12 months a realistic possibility.
