Napoli star Victor Osimhen is aware of transfer rumours linking him with a move to Spain and England and admits that he doesn’t know what the future has in store for him.
The 23-year-old scored four goals in a 10-0 win over São Tomé and Príncipe in a World Cup qualifying match on Monday. His contract at the Stadio Maradona runs out in June 2025, but Arsenal and Manchester United have been mentioned as his possible destinations in the summer.
Osi is unsure about his future at Napoli and as he admitted in his latest interview.
“I know there are rumours about Spain and England, but it’s not the right moment to talk about it because I am with the national team,” he told local media, as quoted by Il Corriere dello Sport.
“I don’t know what the future has in store for me, I know that anything can happen. Now, I want to go on holiday now and recharge and then we’ll think about the rest.”
Osimhen joined Napoli in a €75m deal from Lille in 2020. He scored 18 goals in 32 appearances across all competitions with the Partenopei last season.
Overall, he has scored 28 goals in 62 appearances over his two-year spell with the Azzurri and has 10 goals in 18 games with his national team.
Napoli rejected a €100m offer from Newcastle United in the January transfer window and are unwilling to part ways with their star striker in the summer.
