Victor Osimhen had been expected to at least be on the Napoli bench for today’s friendly against Girona, but is again nowhere to be seen, while Jens Cajuste rejects Galatasaray.

The Partenopei continue their pre-season preparations with this evening’s match against the Spanish side.

There had been reports that Osimhen would be on the bench and maybe make his first appearance of the summer, but for the fourth game in a row, he is not even in the squad.

Osimhen waiting for transfer

The Nigeria international has been training regularly, so it is not an injury issue, as Napoli know they cannot buy any more players until he has been sold.

Arsenal were reported to be making a new offer, according to Radio Radio, with Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea also interested in a potential swoop for the former Capocannoniere.

Meanwhile, the Corriere dello Sport suggests that midfielder Cajuste turned down an offer from Galatasaray, so Napoli are hoping to find a Premier League club for him.

Unlike Osimhen, Cajuste is on the bench this evening.
