Napoli continue to have a shocking record from the penalty spot this season, as Victor Osimhen failed to convert his second in all competition, while the club scored only 10 out of 16.
The Partenopei were celebrating their Scudetto this afternoon against Fiorentina and hoped to increase Osimhen’s chances of winning the Capocannoniere title too.
This is why he was chosen to take a penalty, but it was parried by Pietro Terracciano.
It means Osimhen has taken two spot-kicks this season and failed to score either of them, as the other was in the Champions League against Liverpool.
In all, six Napoli players have taken 16 penalties this term in all competition and only converted 10 of them.
Kvicha Kvaratskhelia failed two out of five, Matteo Politano got one wrong from four and Piotr Zielinski missed one of his three.
The only players with a perfect record are Eljif Elmas and Hirving Lozano, who both converted their only attempts.
