Galatasaray directors have promised to hand over the sufficient banking guarantees to buy Victor Osimhen for €75m, so Napoli are just waiting to see them on paper.
The sum is the same as the release clause, but negotiated outside of it, seeing as the deadline was last night.

It also allows for Galatasaray to spread out the payment over five instalments rather than in one go, but Napoli are demanding rock solid banking guarantees that they will be paid.
That has proved tricky, with talks dragging on for almost 24 hours longer than expected now, the directors delaying their flight back to Istanbul twice, and intermediary George Gardi also involved in the meetings.
Osimhen waiting for all-clear from Napoli

It seems there is finally a breakthrough, as Galatasaray promised to provide the credit letter that would satisfy Napoli.
This is confirmed by Alfredo Pedullà, plus Turkish transfer pundits Ekrem Konur and Yagiz Sabuncuoglu.
All they need now is to see it on paper, get it analysed by their lawyers, and then Osimhen can get the all-clear to fly back to Istanbul to complete the transfer.
Galatasaray feel they have done enough, but it’s not the first time that has been said.

The Nigeria international spent last season on loan at the Turkish club and had rejected a far more lucrative move to Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League.
With no Premier League or LaLiga clubs coming forward with the release clause sum, he preferred to remain at Galatasaray.

useless boy 😂
Everyone dream of having Osimhen in their teams but he can only represent the useful one. Congrats Gala
since Arsenal,Man U, Chelsea and Liverpool do not want to table any offer, is better he stayed in Gala. I wished him the best there, if possible win Champions league there and more trophies
