Recent reports suggest that Victor Osimhem is furious with Napoli over a collapsed deal to Al-Ahli, rather than for their negotiations with Chelsea.
Osimhen relationship with Napoli ‘completely broken’
Into the final hours of the summer transfer window, reports claim that the relationship between Napoli, Osimhen and his representatives is completely wrecked after talks between the Partenopei and Al-Ahli broke down.
Osimhen had been set to sign a massive €160m contract, worth €40m per season. Al-Ahli still needed to negotiate a fee with Napoli, though.
Napoli and Al-Ahli were discussing a price, but Napoli’s request for an additional €5m caused the deal to fall through, according to updates from areanapoli.it.
Osimhen and his agent Roberto Calenda were left going completely ‘berserk,’ according to Friday evening’s report.
Reports from the UK, meanwhile, suggest that Chelsea are still hoping to push forwards with a deal for Osimhen.
Chelsea have reportedly offered Osimhen an annual wage packet of around €8m per season, which is less than the €10m he earns on his current deal with Napoli.
