Atalanta are still leading the race to sign Celtic star Matt O’Riley this summer, despite having their first three offers rejected.
La Dea are preparing to lose star midfielder Teun Koopmeiners in the coming weeks, with Juventus ready to try and close out a deal for the Dutchman after completing the sales of Matias Soule to Roma and Dean Huijsen to Bournemouth.
Atalanta identified O’Riley as an intriguing option but haven’t managed to find common ground with Celtic. Their third offer, worth around €17m, was firmly rejected by the Scottish club, forcing them to return to the drawing board for a fourth time as they look to beat out their competition.
