Milan will announce the signing of Divock Origi in the coming days, but the striker won’t train with the team for at least 10 days as he is still recovering from a muscle injury.

The former Liverpool striker underwent his medical examinations with the Serie A champions last week, but Milan have yet to announce his signature.

According to Calciomercato.com’s Daniele Longo, the official announcement has been postponed due to minor bureaucratic issues, but the Rossoneri will confirm his signing in the coming days.

The Rossoneri have begun their pre-season preparation today, but Origi will only join his teammates on Tuesday, along with Olivier Giroud.

Calciomercato.com and Gazzetta report that the 27-year-old won’t train with the rest of the team for at least 10 days as he is still recovering from a muscle injury suffered in the second part of the season at Anfield.

Milan are not expected to sign a new centre-forward following his signing, given that they will soon extend Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s contract until 2023.
