Italy CT Roberto Mancini will reportedly only make one change from the team that beat Turkey 3-0 when the Azzurri face Switzerland on Wednesday.
After the successful start to Euro 2020 on Friday, the coach doesn’t seem willing to make many changes to the starting line-up ahead of the second game.
Tuttosport highlights only Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Alessandro Florenzi could be replaced, as he struggles with a calf problem.
Giovanni Di Lorenzo of Napoli seems set to start the match against the Swiss, whilst Domenico Berardi’s conditions are not worrying Mancini for now.
The Sassuolo winger will be monitored over the coming days but should be fine to play on Wednesday.
La Gazzetta dello Sport and Tuttosport reports Marco Verratti has recovered and is eager to get involved, but is not certain he will be ready to play against Switzerland.
