Dusan Vlahovic and Ciro Immobile are in the race to win the Golden Boot this season as only Robert Lewandowski has scored more league goals so far.

Vlahovic scored on his Juventus debut against Hellas Verona on Sunday night and has already found the net 18 times in Serie A this term, as many times as Lazio star Ciro Immobile. However, the Italy international has played 20 league games this season, while Vlahovic has 22.

Immobile has already won the Golden Boot in 2020. Vlahovic moved to Turin from Fiorentina in an €80m deal including add-ons in the January transfer window. He has signed a contract until June 2026.

Lewandowski is the leading scorer in Europe’s top five leagues with 24 goals in 21 games. He was the most prolific striker in the leading leagues of the old continent in 2021, with Vlahovic second.

Former Roma and Sampdoria striker Schick has scored as many goals as Vlahovic and Immobile this term but in just 18 games. Real Madrid star Benzema has scored 17 La Liga goals in 21 games.
