La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the decision was made between the two clubs and UEFA.

The game was officially announced to be held behind closed doors several days ago, however as a precautionary measure, more steps have been taken.

The Milan daily states that journalists are also banned from attending the game, and therefore no pre-and-post game press conferences will be held for the Europa league Round of 32 clash.

Only cameramen, for the purpose of broadcasting the game, will be allowed entry into the stadium.

The Italian game has been thrown into turmoil this week, with Serie A matches postponed last weekend, and discussions on going as to whether fans will be entitled to ticket refunds.

Over 300 cases of the virus in Italy have been confirmed, with 11 deaths.
