Talks between Torino and Leicester City for Dennis Praet are ongoing but the Foxes only want a permanent sale for the former Sampdoria man.

Praet spent the last season on loan at the Stadio Grande Torino and the Granata are in talks to bring him back to the club in 2022-23.

However, according to Sky Sport Italia and Tuttosport, the Premier League side won’t consider another loan for the 28-year-old and only want to sell him permanently.

Leicester reportedly value Praet at €12-15m, but at the moment, Torino aren’t willing to match their asking price unless the deal comes on loan with an option to buy.

Talks between all three parties (clubs and player’s entourage) are ongoing, with Torino boss Ivan Juric pushing to reunite with the Belgium international.

Fiorentina had been linked with a move for Praet but seem less interested now that they’ve signed Rolando Mandragora from Juventus.

“Praet is an important player, he did well with us,” Torino director Davide Vagnati told Sky Sport Italia on Thursday.

Torino are also in talks with Joao Pedro’s agent, but Galatasaray are still leading the race for the Italy international.

  1. Let Dennis Praet come back and play for Leicester if Rodgers will let him it would save city a lot of money in looking for another mid field player.
