Antonio Conte obtained his first Premier League win at Tottenham thanks to a goal from Sergio Reguilon, who admitted that the last week was ‘one of the worst of his life.’

Spurs recovered from one goal down, collecting a 2-1 win over Leeds United. It was Conte’s first Premier League win in charge of Spurs.

Reguilon commented on the coach’s methods before the kick-off in an interview with Sky Sports UK.

“We are working a lot the last few weeks and the international break was one of the worst weeks of my life in training,” he said with a smile on his face.

“He [Conte] is a fanatic of football. He always speaks about football, training, after training, before training. I go to sleep thinking about football and the tactics in my position.”

Conte enjoyed Tottenham’s victory that sees Spurs leapfrog Manchester United in the Premier League table.
