Aurelio De Laurentiis promises Napoli fans ‘at least one more signing’ before the end of the transfer window.
The Partenopei are focusing on selling players, with midfielder Gokhan Inler completing his move to Leicester City today.
“Between now and August 31 we’ll make at least one more signing,” De Laurentiis told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“However, we have to complete sales and in the coming days that’s all we’ll be thinking about.

“We’ve been working with [sporting director Cristiano] Giuntoli for two months to get an important signing for Napoli and the fans.”
De Laurentiis also gave his assessment of Serie A ahead of the new campaign, and would like some major changes in structure.
“A lot is new, because so many teams have changed Coach. We’ve done it, as have Milan and Fiorentina, and it takes time for them [the new Coaches] to make their mark.
“I’m expecting a more open and unpredictable season than the last. It will be very interesting.
“The League? I think we play too much. I’d like a 16-team League that starts in October, so there’s time to prepare and approach the transfer market calmly.
“There’s nothing worse than the transfer market being open during the season, as you can generate discontent, or someone can try to be smart and force your hand.
“We could do that, or take a break for a month in January, like at European level.”
