The Disciplinary Commission has given Lazio full-back Manuel Lazzari a one-match suspension for 'having uttered a blasphemous expression’.

The Sporting Judge studied the images and audio from Lazio’s 3-1 defeat to Inter in Serie A on Sunday and has sanctioned the Biancocelesti player with a one-match ban.

The Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office ‘acquired and examined the relative TV images, with full technical and documentary guarantee’ and has banned Lazzari for having ‘uttered a blasphemous expression seven minutes into the second half’.

The 27-year-old has played 20 Serie A games this term, contributing one goal and five assists in the process, but will thus miss the next match against Sampdoria at the Olimpico.
