Onana says goodbye to Inter teammates before Man Utd medical

André Onana has said goodbye to his Inter teammates and is ready to join Manchester United after undergoing his medical with the Red Devils.

The Nerazzurri have agreed to sell the 27-year-old for €55m, including add-ons.

Sky Sport Italia and Fabrizio Romano report the Cameroon international said goodbye to his Inter teammates on Tuesday morning before leaving the Suning Training Centre.

Romano claims Onana will travel to the UK tonight, undergoing his medical and signing his contract with the Red Devils between Wednesday and Thursday.

He is expected to join his new teammates in the USA later this week.

Onana joined Inter on a free transfer from Ajax last summer and kept 19 clean sheets in 41 appearances with the Serie A giants.

He was the player with the most clean sheets in Champions League games in 2022-23, helping the Nerazzurri reach the Final.

Inter are in talks with Bayern Munich for Yann Sommer, but the Bavarians expect the Nerazzurri to pay his €6m clause.
