Lautaro Martinez is not fully fit but is expected to start against Barcelona tonight, Sky Sport Italia confirms.

The Argentinean striker has been dealing with a slight flexor problem, but exams undergone on Monday didn’t highlight any injury.

Inzaghi said yesterday that he would have assessed El Toro with Inter‘s medical staff today and according to Sky Sport, Lautaro has been given the green light to start against the Catalans tonight.

He will partner with his compatriot Joaquin Correa in Inzaghi’s 3-5-2 system.

The Italian broadcasters confirm that André Onana will start in goal and Henrikh Mkhitaryan will replace Marcelo Brozovic in the middle of the park with Kristjan Asllani on the bench.

Brozovic has been ruled out for at least one month following a flexor injury sustained on international duty. Romelu Lukaku is the other absentee for tonight’s game, but Inter hope the Chelsea loanee will return to action against Sassuolo on Saturday.

Inter-Barcelona: probable line-ups

  1. Good luck against Barca. Inter will need it the way they are playing! Four league loses in eight game. A team that wins the scudetto usually loses four or less games in the whole Serie A season. When is Lukaku coming back? What a farce! Too many old guys and not enough quality. A meager financial situation which is leading to an on field disaster!

  2. 😆😅😆, the writer of this article above is mocking inzaghi , he said ,(IN INZAGHI’S 3,5,2 SYSTEM ) 😸😺, inzaghi out now and inter will win the league with 10 points gab .
