Andre Onana seemingly hinted at his departure from Inter as negotiations continue with Manchester United.

The Red Devils are looking for a long-term replacement for David de Gea and have identified the Cameroonian shot stopper as their top target.

An offer worth around €40-45m has already been sent to Inter for Onana but it was swiftly rejected, so Manchester United are expected to draw up a new proposal in the coming days.

On his Instagram story today, Onana hinted at his departure from Inter, posting a photo of a boy’s feet – one in a sandal and the other in a well-designed shoe – accompanied by the caption: “’Every life has a story, and every story has an end… never fool anyone.”

Inter have set a €60m asking price for the Cameroonian goalkeeper but an offer of around €50-55m may be enough to convince them to sell to Manchester United.

The sale of Onana would allow Inter to move forward for their transfer targets, like Chelsea outcast Romelu Lukaku and a replacement goalkeeper.
