In nine years, the forward played 53 games for the national side and also helped the Azzurri pick up two Central European International Cups in 1927-30 and 1933-35.
San Siro is also known as the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium and during his time at the famous ground, he helped the Nerazzurri to three Scudetti and one Coppa Italia.
Although the trophies were achieved with Inter, Meazza also played for Milan, Juventus, Varese and Atalanta.
Meazza died on August 21, 1979, only a few days before his 69th birthday.
