Negotiations continue to drag on between Fiorentina and Olympique Marseille for Pol Lirola, so a couple of fans thought of a new tactic: stand outside the stadium and shout at him.
Lirola joined Marseille on loan in January and loved the experience, but the Ligue 1 side refused to pay the agreed €12m transfer fee.
They immediately regretted that decision and have been negotiating ever since to get the full-back for a similar sum.
The clubs continue to argue over the details, specifically a formation fee to his former clubs and the payment schedule.
With the situation taking so long and Lirola back in training in Florence, two Marseille fans decided to take matters into their own hands.
They uploaded a video of themselves standing outside the Stadio Artemio Franchi, declaring they were there to ‘come and get’ him, hopefully shouting his name over the railings to see if he’d come out.
Bon, avec @Marius35062247, on est allé le chercher en personne au Stadio de la Fiorentina.
Oh @lirola_kosok ! Reviens à Marseille ! Allez l’OM !#TeamOM @ompassion@planetom13@Toto_RiinaOM@Mode55489648 @TBAudibert @MysteriousFada pic.twitter.com/orb97pJXUn
