Olympique Marseille are looking for a replacement for Igor Tudor and have started to consider a move for Frosinone coach Fabio Grosso, Gianluca Di Marzio reports.

Tudor replaced Jorge Sampaoli at the Ligue 1 outfit last summer and had an interesting year in France, guiding the club to a third place finish, taking them to the Champions League qualification rounds.

After a single season, the Croatian coach has decided to leave the club, forcing Marseille to look around for a replacement. Whilst many options are being considered, one in particular is proving particularly intriguing.

As reported by Di Marzio, Marseille have been impressed with Grosso’s work at Frosinone and are interested in appointing him to replace Tudor. Sporting director Javier Ribalta already wanted to work with the 2006 World Cup winner at Parma and could now bring him to South France.

Grosso spent two years of his playing career in France with Olympique Lyon from 2007 to 2009, something that could come in handy should he accept the move to Ligue 1.
