Olympiacos have reportedly prepared an offer for Kostas Manolas, hoping to bring the Greek defender back to his homeland.

The Greece international could follow Sebastiano Luperto out the door at the Partenopei this summer and Manolas has never hidden his desire to return home.

La Repubblica reports Olympiacos are ready to give him the possibility and are preparing an offer for their former defender, who left for Roma in August 2014.

The problem is that Napoli are without too many options in defence, with Amir Rrahmani, Kalidou Koulibaly and Manolas.

The 30-year-old, capped 42 times by Greece, has appeared 68 times for the Partenopei since joining from Roma in July 2019.

Manolas won his first trophy in Italy when Gennaro Gattuso’s men lifted the Coppa Italia and his deal with the Azzurri expires in June 2024.
