Roma loanee Robin Olsen and his family were subjected to a gruesome machete-attack as masked thugs crashed into their home on Saturday.
The Daily Mail reports the Sweden international, currently on loan at Everton, was with his wife and children when the attack happened.
The robbers reportedly ‘threatened Olsen with a knife and escaped with valuable jewellery and a luxury watch’.
The police are investigating, and Everton are offering support to their player and his family following the traumatic experience.
