Juventus and Inter remain interested in signing Donny Van De Beek as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits the Dutchman is ‘not happy’ at Manchester United.
Van De Beek joined the Red Devils in a €40m deal from Ajax in 2020.
He’s only managed three appearances across all competitions so far this season and according to multiple reports in Italy, both Juventus and Inter are interested in securing his services in January.
Van De Beek to leave Man United: could join Inter or Juve on one condition
Speaking to Dutch TV RTL7 after Manchester United’s win against Atalanta, the Norwegian tactician admitted that the Dutchman is unhappy at Manchester United.
“I understand Donny. He is frustrated, he is disappointed. I know he is not happy but he is a top professional. He doesn’t let himself down and he knows this is how it works in football,” the Red Devils’ coach said.
“We never received an offer from Everton. For me, he is a Manchester United player. Tonight was another night where he was ready. I know that when he gets his chance he will be ready.”

Van De Beek’s contract at Old Trafford expires in June 2025, but his agents are already looking for an escape route.
Serie A giants Juventus and Inter are interested in securing his services, but it’s hard to imagine any of the two teams sign the player on a permanent transfer in the winter transfer window.
Inter CEO Beppe Marotta has admitted that the Nerazzurri can’t make big-money offers and must make “reduced and specific investments.”
Therefore, Van De Beek could move to Italy, but only on loan with an option or obligation to buy.
