Stefano Okaka “felt like I was coming home” when returning to Udinese from Watford on transfer deadline day.

The forward had already spent the last six months of the previous campaign here on loan and made the move permanent on September 2.

“It was a wonderful sensation, above all setting foot in the Dacia Arena,” Okaka told Udinews TV.

“We had a great ending to the season and it felt like I was coming home, because I felt welcomed with open arms from my very first day here.

“When I arrived, I asked the people of Udine for love and I received it from everyone, from every part of the stadium and the city, so I tried to repay that on the field.

“I thank everyone and now we hope to do great things in this new campaign.”
