Stefano Okaka will leave Roma this summer, says agent Giampiero Pocetta, with Parma as his most likely destination.

The 22-year-old striker has been at the capital club since 2004, but has spent nearly every season since out on loan at a different club, with the sole exception of the 2008-09 campaign.

His agent believes the time has come for the Italian to try a new adventure.

“Stefano loves Roma, however, the roads are inevitably leading to division. It’s simply a market operation,” Calciomercato.com quoted Pocetta as saying.

His agent believes the time has come for the Italian to try a new adventure.

“Stefano loves Roma, however, the roads are inevitably leading to division. It’s simply a market operation,” Calciomercato.com quoted Pocetta as saying.

“Roma is dealing with Parma who want to buy him because they see in him a player they can bet on in the future.

“This time, he leaves on a permanent basis.”

“Stefano is not disappointed – in the last two years he’s matured much as a player and realised that there was no space for him at Roma.

“For Stefano a contract resolution will not arrive. His situation, without going into detail, is different from that of [Aleandro] Rosi.”

Italian full-back Rosi signed for Parma earlier this week, following a contract termination with the capital side.
