“Doctor Sansonetti performed surgery on Ogbonna today in Milan, aided by Torino FC chief medic Renato Misischi, to correct the hernia the defender was affected by,” read a statement.
“The operation was a complete success. Ogbonna will be released from hospital tomorrow morning, save for complications.”
It is not clear how long the 24-year-old will be out for.
