Angelo Ogbonna has spoken to Tuttosport about his future. “It’s hard to imagine a Torino side without me.”

The centre-back is the club’s most prized asset and it is no secret that a host of Europe’s top sides, including city rivals Juventus, are keen on his services.

“After 10 years here, it is difficult for me to see myself in another shirt,” the stopper noted in an interview.

“I grew up here and I feel as if this city has adopted me. I thank the President and the Coach.”

Toro chief Urbano Cairo has admitted that he will let the player leave if that is his desire, but Ogbonna is valued at over €20m.

“That figure makes me proud, it’s satisfying, but it doesn’t increase the responsibility on my shoulders.

“I’m still young and I don’t feel that I have already arrived. I can’t rest on my laurels now.”

Questioned on a possible move to Juventus, Ogbonna answered cautiously – albeit without totally ruling the Old Lady out as a possible future destination.

“For now, Juventus are not in my future – I just see Granata,” he added. “A move abroad? Why not? My dream is to play in a Champions League Final.”

Ogbonna has won five caps so far and he’s eager for more. “I want to make it tough for Italy boss Cesare Prandelli,” he added. “I want to win my place back.”
