Milan have announced that Ibrahimovic will return to San Siro as a free agent when the transfer window re-opens in January.
It is a six-month contract with an option to extend for another season, pending a medical on January 2.

The former Sweden international was a key member in Massimiliano Allegri’s Scudetto winning side in 2010-11, securing his fourth Italian league winner’s medal.
“I’m returning to a club that I respect enormously and to a city that I love,” he said to the club’s official website. “I will fight with my teammates to change the course of this season and I will do everything I can to help achieve our goals.”
When the Sweden international revealed he was leaving LA Galaxy this winter, the speculation started and eventually Milan has signed their man.
He played 85 games and scored 56 goals during his last spell with the Rossoneri and has previously played for Inter and Juventus in Serie A.
The 38-year-old became the Capocannoniere in 2011-12 season, when he scored 28 goals at Milan, and helped them win the Supercoppa Italiana during the same season.
