Torino have officially signed Czech Republic international David Zima from Slavia Prague in a deal worth โฌ5m, but will probably not get Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina.
Centre-back Zima passed his medical and signed the contract on transfer deadline day.
Still only 20 years old, Zima already has two senior caps for the Czech Republic under his belt, making his debut in March 2021.
Toro are also expected to secure Dennis Praet on loan from Leicester City.
However, the Granata will not be signing Amrabat from Fiorentina, a player who had been eager to work with ex-Hellas Verona coach Ivan Juric again.
According to Calciomercato.com, there is too much difference between the clubs to get this deal done on deadline day.
