Zdenek Zeman could be heading back to Italy for Crotone or Pescara, as he officially leaves Swiss side FC Lugano.
The former Roma tactician had already been linked with a return to the Peninsula over the past week.
“During a cordial telephone conversation on Saturday afternoon, Coach Zdenek Zeman confirmed to President Angelo Renzetti that he does not intend to accept the FC Lugano job next season, thanking him for the experience and wishing the club all the best,” read a statement.

Crotone have just been promoted to Serie A for the first time in their history, but Coach Ivan Juric is expected to join Genoa.
As for Pescara, they are in the promotion play-off final against Trapani, but could well keep current boss Massimo Oddo if they do step up to the top flight.
