“Valencia CF have reached an agreement with Torino FC on Friday for the loan and mandatory purchase of Italian striker Simone Zaza,” read a statement.
“The Club wants to thank him for his commitment and effort during his time as a Valencia CF player and wishes him the best of luck in his new stage in Serie A.”
Zaza will reportedly earn €1.5m per year, on a par with new teammate Andrea Belotti.
The 27-year-old Italy international is well-travelled, particularly in recent years, with spells at Sassuolo, Juventus, West Ham United and Valencia.
The Spaniards bought him for €18m in January 2017 and he scored 19 goals with six assists in 59 competitive appearances.
Valencia President Anil Murthy saluted Zaza on Instagram and Twitter this evening.
“You arrived during a difficult time and helped us grow with your hard work and goals, always with charisma and joy. Today you go to Torino with the affection and respect of Valencia.
“Thank you and good luck, Simone!”
