Hellas Verona have officially signed new striker Casper Tengstedt from Benfica, on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
The Dane turned 24 in June and was purchased from Rosenborg in January 2023 for €7m.
He found the net four times with seven assists in 35 competitive appearances for the Portuguese giants.
The cost of the operation is expected to be a total of €4m plus add-ons.
Tengstedt is a product of the Midtjylland youth academy, including spells on loan at Nurnberg and AC Horsens.
