Venezia have officially signed Nigerian striker David Okereke on loan from Club Brugge with option to buy at the end of the season.
The forward turns 24 later this month and already had his medical earlier in the week.
It is a return to Italy, as Okereke spent most of his career in the Peninsula, playing for Lavagnese from 2015, then Cosenza and Spezia until moving to Club Brugge in 2019 for €8m.
The statement from newly-promoted Serie A side Venezia confirms this is a loan deal with an option to buy.
