Fiorentina midfielder Matias Vecino has signed a new contract, keeping him with the club until 2021.
The Uruguayan has been one of Coach Paulo Sousa’s key men this season, making 30 Serie A appearances and scoring twice.
The 24-year-old’s deal was due to expire in June of 2018, but he has been given a three-year extension.
“ACF Fiorentina announces that we have reached an agreement for a renewal with Matias Vecino,” a statement on the Viola’s official website confirmed.
