Udinese made the last signing of the Serie A transfer window, reportedly paying €10m for Portimonense striker Beto Betuncal.

The 23-year-old centre-forward has arrived on loan with obligation to buy, and Tuttomercatoweb claim the total cost of the operation is circa €10m.

Sportitalia identify the details as €7m with up to €3m in performance-related bonuses.

He then put pen to paper on a four-year contract for the Friulani.

Full name Norberto Bercique Gomes Betuncal, he is commonly known as Beto.

The striker scored 11 goals in 30 Liga Nos games last season for Portimonense.

So far this term, following relegation to the Liga Bwin, Beto already bagged two goals in three appearances.

This was the final contract registered by Serie A clubs before the transfer window closed.
