Udinese have announced the departure of Seko Fofana, who moves to Lens on a permanent deal worth €15m.
The former Manchester City man appeared 119 times for the Friuli and scored 13 goals in Serie A, but has now signed a four-year deal at Lens.
In 2019-20, he was an important member at the Dacia Arena, contributing three goals in his 32 games for the team.
“Udinese Calcio announce that they have reached an agreement with Racing Club de Lens for the permanent transfer of Seko Mohamed Fofana,” the club wrote in an official statement.

Fofana added through Lens official website: “A feew weeks ago, the club contacted my agents.
“When Lens calls you, it makes you feel important. Nobody expected me to come here: I had other requests, but I asked myself the right questions.
“I have been waiting a long time for this day to come.”
