Udinese have officially confirmed they have sacked Massimo Oddo, with Igor Tudor expected to replace him later today.

It was clear since the loss to Crotone at the weekend, the Zebrette’s 11th in a row, that the former defender would be sacked, but there had been no official announcement.

Oddo himself confirmed his departure earlier today, and now the club have made an official statement.

“Udinese Calcio officially announces that it has relieved Massimo Oddo and his staff from their position in charge of the first team.

“The club’s thanks are extended to them.”

Igor Tudor should replace Oddo later today, on a contract until June 30 2019.
