Torino have officially brought back Italy Under-21 defender Kevin Bonifazi from Serie A rivals SPAL.
SPAL had an option to buy Bonifazi, who spent the past season on loan in Ferrara, but Toro confirmed on Thursday that they had exercised their own counter-option.
The 23-year-old played 28 times for Leonardo Semplici’s side in 2018-19 as they managed to stay up for the second consecutive campaign.
He is currently with the Italy squad at the European Under-21 Championship.
